Te Roopu Kimiora - Child and adolescent mental health and addiction services
We are a secondary care mental health service seeing rangatahi aged 0 to 18 who have moderate to severe mental health concerns.
Our service
We work closely alongside the young person and their whānau to achieve goals that are set collaboratively so they can live to their fullest potential.
We see children and young people with:
- depression
- anxiety, including post traumatic stress disorder
- ADHD (attention deficit hyperactivity
disorder) with mental health concerns - ASD (autistic spectrum
disorder) with mental health concerns - eating disorders
- suicidal thoughts and feelings
- self-harm
associated drug and alcohol misuse.

Our team
Our team includes:
- registered health clinicians (such as. nurses, social workers, occupational therapists, counsellors, psychologists and psychiatrists)
- Kaitakawaenga (Cultural Advisors)
- youth peer support workers.
