Appointments and test results communication
We are starting to use email to send appointments and test results to our patients. This is an optional service. We will continue to send this information by post if you would prefer.
Verifying your email address
We will be sending a verification email to all patients:
- to confirm that the email address we have on file for you are correct
- that you are happy for us to communicate health information by email.
The verification email will come from:
donotreply@emailverification.northlanddhb.org.nz
When you get the email please respond so we know you are happy to receive emails about your test results and hospital appointments.
You will need to respond within 3 weeks of receiving our verification email.
If you do not respond to the verfication email
If you do not respond to the first email or reminders, we will assume that the email address we have on record is not accurate and we will continue to contact you by post.
Changing your email address
If you want to change the email address we have for you, contact:
- reception when you next visit the hospital
