Mental health services - Northland

Employment Works is a personalised employment support service for people with mental health or addiction challenges, who want to find a job. It is a collaboration between Health NZ | Te Whatu Ora in Te Tai Tokerau, Te Mana Oranga Trust and the Ministry of Social Development.

We are a secondary care mental health service seeing rangatahi aged 0 to 18 who have moderate to severe mental health concerns.

Mana Ake provides early intervention to promote wellbeing and mental health support for our primary and intermediate aged tamariki across Te Tai Tokerau.
The aim is to help enhance resilience, wairua, and mana so they are ‘stronger for tomorrow’.

Te Tumu Waiora or ‘to head towards wellness’ - is a new model of primary mental health and addictions care and support which aims to provide all New Zealanders experiencing mental distress or addictions challenges with access to convenient, high quality, integrated and person-centred care and support.
