Christchurch Women's Hospital has a nutrition service for women who are using maternity and gynaecology services. The service is staffed by registered dietitians.

Services we provide
We see women as outpatients and inpatients for individual nutrition assessment and advice. We see women for:
- severe and ongoing pregnancy-related nausea and vomiting
- nutrition for triplet pregnancy
- healthy weight gain in pregnancy for those with a lower or higher than usual BMI
- diabetes in pregnancy
- suitable nutrition in teenage pregnancy
- nutrition during pregnancy for women who have had bariatric surgery in the past
- nutrition during pregnancy for women following a vegan diet
- fertility problems in women who have polycystic ovary syndrome or a BMI over 35.
